2012 IKA International Culinary Olympics

The IKA, or International Culinary Olympics, took place this year in Erfurt, Germany from October 5th-10th.  Over 1500 chefs from 45 nations competed in various categories, creating over 10,000 menus.

The United States has had an outstanding showing in Germany in 2012, with the following American chefs scoring medals:
